Our Story
JC and Anne Risewick founded The Risewick Group from a shared belief that leadership is never separate from life. As Certified Executive and Marriage Coaches and through decades of experience in executive leadership, governance, family enterprise, and, of course, being married, they have seen how business, family, and identity are deeply connected.
Together, they serve owners, executives, and families navigating complexity and generational responsibility. Their work integrates executive clarity, relational strength, and strategic direction to help leaders build enterprises and legacies that endure.

Co-Founder - The Risewick GroupJC Risewick brings decades of executive leadership, governance experience, and family enterprise insight to his advisory work. As President of a multi-state energy and infrastructure services organization, he led the company through significant growth and operational complexity before guiding it through a successful private equity transaction in 2024. The process required thoughtful navigation of legacy, stakeholder alignment, and generational responsibility within a family-founded enterprise.
In 2022, JC was appointed by Governor Kim Reynolds to serve on the Iowa Board of Regents and was reappointed in 2025. His board service has included committee leadership across property and facilities, healthcare, public-private partnerships, executive governance, and legislative affairs. In 2025–2026, he co-chaired the national presidential search committee for Iowa State University, leading a disciplined and confidential process culminating in the selection of the university’s next president.
Earlier in his career, JC became a Certified Dale Carnegie Sales and Human Relations Trainer, equipping executives and teams in communication, influence, and relational intelligence. He also holds a Certification in Mentorship, Coaching, and Leadership Development and is a Certified Professional Christian Life Coach with a specialization in Marriage Coaching.
Together with Anne, JC co-founded The Risewick Group to serve leaders navigating complexity in business, marriage, and generational responsibility. His counsel is shaped not only by boardrooms and transactions, but by lived experience as a husband, father, executive, and steward of legacy. He believes leadership leaves a lasting mark, and that wise decisions today shape the impact of tomorrow.
Anne Risewick
Co-Founder - The Risewick GroupAnne Risewick brings executive experience, relational insight, and leadership development expertise to her work with leaders and families. During her 17-year corporate career, she held leadership roles within Fortune 100 organizations across banking, healthcare, and technology, including serving at a National Director level. In that role, she led cross-functional and multi-organizational teams, guiding strategic partnerships and delivering complex solutions within a highly dynamic industry.
After stepping away from corporate leadership to prioritize family and marriage, Anne redirected her experience toward mentoring, coaching, and faith-based leadership development. She holds a Certificate in Mentorship, Coaching, and Leadership Development and is a Certified Professional Christian Life Coach with a specialization in Marriage Coaching.
Anne has spent the past several years raising 3 children, mentoring women, coaching couples, and serving in leadership roles within her local church and community. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees at Des Moines Christian School and has contributed to nonprofit board service focused on strengthening marriages across Iowa.
Together with JC, Anne co-founded The Risewick Group to help leaders align professional responsibility with relational health and long-term purpose. Her work reflects both executive discipline and personal conviction, grounded in the belief that strong marriages and healthy families are foundational to enduring leadership.
